School Quiz Team

Congratulations to Caragh and Darani, who made it onto the school Quiz Team. They are working hard, preparing for the Credit Union Quiz which takes place in the Radisson Hotel on January 29th. Good luck girls!!

Dance

Every Monday we do Dance with our instructor, Kevin. We do fun warm-ups, and Kevin has shown us lots of moves to the dance we are working on. We do partner work for some of it, where we have to work on a section of the dance with our partner, and make up some moves by ourselves. It is great fun! We are looking forward to performing our completed dance.

Basketball Coaching

Alejandro, the basketball coach with Cavan Lakers Basketball Club, comes to coach us every Thursday. He does all sorts of fun drills and games with us. There is also basketball after school every Thursday for 3rd and 4th classes, and some of our class have signed up for this coaching too.

Shoe Box Appeal

St Clare's took part in the Shoe Box Appeal this Christmas. Pupils sent in almost 200 shoe boxes, packed with essentials and gifts for homeless people in Ireland. Here we are, helping to load the shoe boxes into the charity van, to be taken away to homeless shelters in Dublin and distributed to the people who need them. Thank you very much to all the parents who packed a shoe box for this appeal.
