Sportathon 2016
On Friday 29th April we had our Sportathon. It was fantastic! We took part in a huge range of fun activities, including orienteering, skipping, athletics, co-operative games, gymnastics, ball skills, circuit, yoga and dance, and there was an ice-cream van too! We got bottles of water and fruit pots to help keep our energy levels up. It was a brilliant day. Here are the photos:

St Clare's Credits
Two more girls have filled their St Clare's Credits booklets, and collected their prizes and certificates from the principal last Friday. Stamps are awarded for excellent behaviour, great work, correct uniform, and for being helpful and kind in the class and in the yard. Congratulations Klaudia and Tangazo!!
Ukulele
We have started ukulele lessons with Therese, from the Cavan Academy of Music. We have a lesson every Wednesday, and we are doing great. We are learning lots of chords, including F, C, G and A minor. We have learned a few songs already, including Rocky Mountain High and You Are My Sunshine.

Art Exhibition- Anamnesis
We went to the town hall to see Marilyn Gaffney's art exhibition, entitled Anamnesis. Marilyn was the artist who worked with us on our Arts project, and it was brilliant to go see her works. She gave us our own guided tour of her artwork, and told us all about how she created her art. We got to ask lots of questions. Thank you Marilyn!
