Homework Club

The Homework Club takes place in St Clare's every Tuesday and Thursday, from 2.40 until 3.30. Nina, Wiktoria, Sorcha, Kayleigh, Sabrina P, Erika and Sabrina B from our class have signed up. It is a great way to get your homework done before you go home.

Tin Whistle class

Every Wednesday, Padraig Lynch comes in to 4th class to teach us the tin whistle. We are working hard at our music, and we are learning some great tunes, such as Mo Ghile Méar, Kerry Polka, The Star of the County Down, and Óro Sé do Bheatha Bhaile.

Halloween

On October 23rd we came to school dressed up for Halloween. We had a Cheerios breakfast morning, and later that day we had a Halloween party. Then we had a week off school!!

Welcome Back!

September is here, the new school year has started, and we are all back in St Clare's. We are looking forward to a brilliant year. Don't forget to keep an eye on our blog, to see all the work we do here in 4th class!

End of 4th class

The tests are finished, the reports are in the post... We are fast approaching the end of 4th class! I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the wonderful girls in our class a brilliant summer. You have been super!!! Stay safe, have fun, and I look forward to seeing you all in September again!

Music Exam

The Royal Irish Academy of Music Theory Examinations were held in May. A total of 8 girls from our class sat the exam. The results came out this week, and we were thrilled to learn that all 8 had earned a distinction (over 90%) in the exam. This is the highest grade possible! Huge congratulations to Chantel, Séana, Ugne, Ruby, Oliwia, Mary, Chloe Collins and Chinazam. Well done girls.

Camogie Blitz

On Monday 15th June, St Clare's camogie team travelled to a primary schools blitz in Mayobridge, Co.Down. Mary from our class travelled as part of the team. She had to be in school at 7.15am!!! The team played brilliantly, and finished runners-up. They were narrowly beaten in the final after some great performances. Congratulations Mary, and also congratulations to Chinazam and Geraldine who are also on the camogie team. Keep up the training girls!
