Shoe Box Appeal
St Clare's took part in the Shoe Box Appeal this Christmas. Pupils sent in almost 200 shoe boxes, packed with essentials and gifts for homeless people in Ireland. Here we are, helping to load the shoe boxes into the charity van, to be taken away to homeless shelters in Dublin and distributed to the people who need them. Thank you very much to all the parents who packed a shoe box for this appeal.

Children of Lir
We have been learning about the Children of Lir in SESE. The Children of Lir is an old Irish legend, about a king called Lir. He had 4 children, Fionnuala, Con, Fiachra and Aodh. Their wicked stepmother Aoife turned them into swans, and they lived on the lakes for nine hundred years.
Here we are, working on our Children of Lir artwork.
