We love breakfast! Part 2

We really enjoyed sampling all the beautiful breakfast choices, as you can see! We were all full when we left. Now we know what to have for breakfast every morning.

Breakfast Time

On Wednesday 26th November, our class went to the Parents' Room to sample all kinds of healthy  breakfast foods. There were lots of healthy cereals, even porridge. We tried delicious brown bread, wholemeal bread, and bagels. We had unsweetened fruit juices, and lots of beautiful fruit. We had different types of cheese on lovely crackers. A huge thank you to Mrs McCahill and Mrs Bradley for preparing it all!!!

Children who have a healthy breakfast do better at school- fact!

Breakfast is the fuel that gets us going in the morning. Here we are, learning all about healthy breakfast options.

Weaving: work in progress

Weaving

Long before loom bands were invented, people did their weaving with wool on a loom. Ms Phelan showed us how to make a loom, and how to weave on it. Weaving with loom bands is easier!

Gravity

Ms Phelan has been teaching us all about gravity. We all have a centre of gravity. We carried out experiments to find the centre of gravity of different objects. We predicted where we thought the centre of gravity would be, and experimented to see where it was. We drew pictures of our results.
